VERSACE LANCE LE SAC F. SIGNATURE



Versace présente sa nouvelle icône, le sac F. Signature, une édition limitée de la ligne phare « Signature ».
 
L’initiale F fait référence aux franges abondantes qui ornent cette édition spéciale, ajoutant un twist frais et élaboré.
 
Le haut du sac est décoré de clous dorés, et gansé d’une lanière de cuir cousue à la main, renforçant son esprit artisanal.
Ces détails soulignent les motifs propres à la ligne Signature, comme les anses en cuir et les têtes de Méduses dorées.
Le F. Signature est fait à partir de cuir nappa tendre, et surmonté de franges en veau velours. Il est disponible en noir ou blanc, mais aussi en couleurs vives telles que le fuchsia ou le bleu.
Le sac F. Signature sera disponible dans un réseau de boutiques internationales sélectionnées à partir de Mai 2014.

MYKITA opens new shop at

the foot of the Matterhorn

From the city to the slopes: the MYKITA Shop Zermatt is located at an altitude of 1,600 meters, in one of the best-known skiing regions in the Swiss Alps and at the same time in the heart of a bustling town environment. The second MYKITA Shop in Switzerland unites the Berlin-based eyewear specialists’ own aesthetic principles with optical precision. This branch has a particularly strong emphasis on MYKITA MYLON frames: extremely light and practical sports-style frames that make both a perfect companion for the mountains and also a practical everyday accessory.

The MYKITA Shop in Zermatt is a marriage of the modern and the traditional. The display window, with its original wood framing to re-tain the winter resort look, provides an open view of the all-white interior, with a design based on the progressive composition of different elements and contrasting materials. The room was stripped of its wood panelling to leave exposed concrete walls and floors. The steel girders were likewise liberated from their casing and restored to their original condition. The result is a kind of installation with a bold and simple construction that preserves the original character of the space. The primary design element of the shop interior is the MYKITA Wall. It comprises perforated steel angle beads that are reinvented from their regular function as heavy-duty shelving supports. The resulting structure is backlit and serves as a presentation area. Individual metal shelf elements inserted into the wall provide each model with its own little stage. The MYKITA Shop in Zermatt is in addition the first to feature an expansive MYKITA MYLON Wall, bringing the ”future look of sports” to the mountains. The integrated Relaxed Vision Center is a special lab equipped with state-of-the-art precision instruments from Carl Zeiss research. Customers can consult the MYKITA in-house optometrist, who generates customised optical profiles and performs an exact adaptation of the lenses to both the wearer’s eyesight and their facial physiognomy. Quality, precision and products ”made in Germany” are the common themes behind the partnership of MYKITA with the world-renowned optical solutions specialist Zeiss. Zermatt is now home to the ninth MYKITA Shop worldwide – joining Berlin, New York, Paris, Zurich, Vienna, Tokyo, Monterrey (Mexico) and Cartagena (Colombia).

ToyWatch presents its ToyCruise Metal watch, a revisitation of the Cruise collection: drawing its inspiration from the style and charm of the 1960s, it is characterised by a new material, steel, which exalts the softness of the stretch mesh fabric - a new rendition of the braided belt, a cult accessory at the time.
 
Rhythm and a feeling of light heartedness and freedom are the salient traits of this collection made-to-measure for men and women who stand out for their unmistakable style, elegant and yet somewhat irreverent, typical of those years. 
 
The ToyCruise Metal collection includes a watch and a matching necklace: two pieces that for this special new version will also be sold separately, prompting more personal and diversified interpretations of one’s looks.
 
The ToyCruise Metal watch, of linear and essential design, has a 40mm case made from  nickel-free steel that comes in many colour versions: warm gold and pink gold, shiny silver, elegant IP black.  The strap, in a white, black, green or brown braided fabric with leather finishes, creates a refined contrast with the metallic hues, giving rise to 5 models of innate elegance.
 

The ToyCruise Metal necklace is a modern version of the Tibetan Mala, the famous Buddhist rosary, coveted by fashion addicts.

Made of small steel balls, the necklace is entwined by hand with a stretch fabric that makes it suitable for wearing as a bracelet too.

The colour combinations are in counterposition: the beads with the case and the stretch fabric and soft leather with the strap, in perfect harmony with the colour shades of the watches.

The all- time queen of disco music will be the protagonist of the spectacular show of the celebrated Swiss Maison. Saturday 23 February at 9pm Milan’s Teatro Alcione will be transformed into a magical fairy tale forest. And Grace Jones will be the star.

Once upon a time there was an enchanted forest and a beautiful, mysterious lady strolling softly through it. She was not afraid. She proceeded confidently, driven by the desire to find the love, beauty and happiness that had been taken from her. An unwavering voyage, as she ventured through the lights and shadows of her thoughts. Nothing and no one could stop her! And she emerged triumphant! To interpret this lady the designer Philipp Plein has chosen Grace Jones. The famous Jamaican singer, actress and model will be the guest star at the PHILIPP PLEIN fashion show event that will take place this Saturday at 9pm at in Milan at Teatro Alcione, located at Piazza Vetra.

The beautiful queen of disco music will perform live on the catwalk, which the young designer has submerged in an enchanted forest. Just like a fairy tale. Fascinating and mysterious. Evoking dreams and fear. A thriller with a happy ending. The perfect scenario to showcase the grand voice that brought to life such unforgettable classics as Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose” and who made an entire generation dance to the notes of “Slave to the Rhythm.” As every season, a spectacular fashion show is expected, as per Philipp Plein’s wishes, the designer who has made glamour in excess his claim to fame. To astonish and entertain is an obligation. But always with style. Like a fairy tale, the new PHILIPP PLEIN collection is bursting with the wonders of Italian-made luxury: furs, coats, dresses and accessories. An exhibition of spectacular hand craftsmanship, that exquisite savoir-faire handed down from generation to generation. Do you Do you St Tropez ?

For summer 2012, ToyWatch pays homage to Brigitte Bardot’s St. Tropez with its new 
St. Tropez collection.


 
A watch characterised by its unique strap made from woven elastic fabric and its chain, made entirely by hand to match the colour of each model.
The bright colours, ranging from lemon yellow to sky blue, from shocking pink to bright green, are the key characteristic of this new creation from ToyWatch, a collection inspired by the colours and sensations of one of the most famous resorts on the Cote d’Azur since the 1960s, in which style, charm and fashion merge to create a unique and timeless look, which has always been popular world over.


As ever, the St. Tropez watch is an accessory which features great attention to detail, from its elastic cotton strap to its leather details, its matching rim and buckle, available in Steel versions, as well as with Yellow Gold and Rose Gold plate.
The 39 mm case is made from polycarbonate and matches the colour of the strap. The white or black dial indicates the time at three different points, with the numbers: 3 -6- 9.
