Do you Do you St Tropez ?

For summer 2012, ToyWatch pays homage to Brigitte Bardot’s St. Tropez with its new
St. Tropez collection.

A watch characterised by its unique strap made from woven elastic fabric and its chain, made entirely by hand to match the colour of each model.
The bright colours, ranging from lemon yellow to sky blue, from shocking pink to bright green, are the key characteristic of this new creation from ToyWatch, a collection inspired by the colours and sensations of one of the most famous resorts on the Cote d’Azur since the 1960s, in which style, charm and fashion merge to create a unique and timeless look, which has always been popular world over.

As ever, the St. Tropez watch is an accessory which features great attention to detail, from its elastic cotton strap to its leather details, its matching rim and buckle, available in Steel versions, as well as with Yellow Gold and Rose Gold plate.
The 39 mm case is made from polycarbonate and matches the colour of the strap. The white or black dial indicates the time at three different points, with the numbers: 3 -6- 9.

The St. Tropez chain completes and enhances each model, becoming a versatile accessory which can be worn around the neck, wrist or waist according to your look for the day. It features small hand-tied knots and is embellished with a pendent tassel.
The watch and chain are available in black, pink, yellow, green, purple, sky blue, orange and dark blue.

MYKITA

Berlin

Seven Days in Sunny July

In fall 2000, the landscape of premium denim was changed forever. Born in Los Angeles, California, 7 For All Mankind was the first company to bring premium denim to scale, putting L.A. on the map as the fashion authority of the west coast staple.
7 For All Mankind quickly earned an immediate following for its innovative use of fabrics, fit and finishes in denim. Twelve years later, the company still shows exponential growth, with extensions into sportswear, men, children, footwear, and accessories.
Often nicknamed as "Sevens," the brand has become not only a household name, but a favorite among Hollywood elite, fashion editors and stylists. Our jeans have graced the bodies of notable female celebrities that include Emma Stone, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart, Jessica Alba, and Kate Bosworth. Male celebrity fans include Ashton Kutcher, Ryan Reynolds and Penn Badgley.
The company continues to be a force in the industry it brought to life, with innovative collaborations and partnerships. In 2012, 7 For All Mankind pushed the envelope of denim advertising even further, with a digital spring campaign imagined and directed by actor James Franco.
Today, 7 For All Mankind is an international brand with over 100 retail locations in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In addition to our own brick and mortar stores and website, the brand is sold at luxury department stores and high end specialty boutiques around the world.
As 7 For All Mankind enters into its second decade of business, it remains the leader in premium denim, and continues to push industry standards to a new level by being a hybrid brand of fashion and innovation.

EXTRA LARGE - EXHIBITION - from 13 Jul until Sep 9, 2012

In the summer of 2012 the Grimaldi Forum Monaco will be renewing its link with contemporary art. After having celebrated the icon Andy Warhol in 2003, brought together Jean Pigozzi’s African collection in 2005 and extolled New York’s artistic creation in 2006, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco has invited the Pompidou Center to exhibit a selection of its “large format” collection from July 13 to September 9.
The exhibition “Extra Large” is conceived as a voyage through the modern and contemporary collections of the Pompidou Center, focusing on fifty of its most monumental works, some of which are recent acquisitions or have never yet been exhibited in Europe. Goal: to lead the visitor into a head-swimming empathy with the work and enable him or her to discover the great names of 20th century art.
This spectacular journey, sometimes “dizzying”, punctuated by the great names of 20th and 21st century art, sheds a light on the concept of monumentality. It presents the very large format works of Joan Miró, Jean Dubuffet, Matta, Pierre Soulages, Frank Stella, Sam Francis, amd Yan Pei-Ming, but also presents sculptures, installations and environments by Joseph Beuys, Christian Boltanski, Daniel Buren and including Sol LeWitt, Anish Kapoor and Bill Viola: masterpieces of modern and contemporary creation brought together in a deliberately “non-standard” presentation.
This project is the result of close cooperation between the Pompidou Center and the Grimaldi Forum Monaco and is the dreamed of occasion for the Grimaldi Forum Monaco to show to best advantage its Espace Ravel jewel box and its 4000 square meters. And to cap it all, the evocation of this monumental approach to art is taking place in a country labeled as “the second smallest country in the world!” And this is far from being the last of the surprises for the public.

Aurélie Bidermann

French jewelry designer Aurelie Bidermann began her career as an art historian in Sotheby's Impressionist and Contemporary Art departments. Inspired by her experience with great works of art, in 1999 she set out to create a collection of her own. After attending Gemology school in Anvers and BJO in Paris she travelled extensively, collecting inspiration from different cultures and techniques. A visit to India proved to be a "coup de foudre". Fascinated by the beauty that surrounded her, her taste became refined and she soon developed her signature concept: lucky charms, stones mixed with talismans from around the world.
Aurelie Bidermann's style is recognizable among the most prestigious boutiques and fashion tastemakers worldwide. Her poetic creations are a true declaration of peace, love, serenity and fantasy. Her philosophy is to create an "Art of Happiness", as she continually renews her sources of inspiration to produce imaginative, finely-crafted works of art.
