Bally is pleased to announce the re-opening of its newly refurbished Paris boutique on the Boulevard des Capucines. Located on the edge of the prestigious “Triangle d'Or”, it’s an historic spot for Bally given that the Swiss brand has occupied the same space since the 1920s.
Together with the Bally makeover, unveiled on December 14, the Boulevard des Capucines itself is undergoing a transformation with the recent arrival of a number of luxury jewellery and watch brands on the Boulevard.
The re-configured space spans two floors, totals 244 sqm and houses the watch brandsmen’s and women’s collection of shoes, bags, accessories, leather goods and ready-to-wear. Soothing, intimate and comfortable in ambience, the store features include multimedia screens, soft lighting, Italian marble floors and pure wool carpets. Some of the walls and shelving are lined with alcantara, while comfortable leather seating comes rectangular and brown for men or white and circular for women. Considered design features such as these subtly help delineate between collections for men and women. On the ground floor, men’s leather goods and small accessories sit on one side of the store. In contrast, the wall opposite featuring women’s handbags has a different, distinctive textured plaster finish. It’s a configuration that is echoed on the second floor that houses women’s and men’s ready to-wear and shoes.
Another pivotal feature of the second floor is a freestanding salon located between the men and women’s collections that is specially dedicated to Scribe, Bally’s heritage men’s made-to-order collection. Here, customers are encouraged to sit and take their time choosing style, sole, colour and material on precision made personalised shoes that take approximately eight weeks to produce. The location of the salon here is of particular significance given that the Hotel Scribe on Rue Scribe, from where the collection takes its name, can be seen directly opposite.
