PART PUNK, PART SLEEK AND ARCHITECTURAL, THE EDDIE BORGO COLLECTION CENTERS ON A MODERN DEFINITION OF LUXURY.​

 

EDDIE BORGO GREW UP IN THE SOUTHEAST UNITED STATES, WITH STOPS IN WASHINGTON D.C. AND COLUMBUS, BEFORE ARRIVING IN NEW YORK CITY IN 1998. THERE WAS ONE MAINSTAY THROUGHOUT THAT MULTI-CITY CHILDHOOD: CLASSIC ROCK-AND-ROLL, PLAYING THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE. IT SAYS A LOT ABOUT HIS CURRENT COLLECTION, WHICH PULLS INSPIRATION FROM A MYRIAD OF ROCK REFERENCES AND ALWAYS REMAINS, LIKE THE MUSIC OF THE ERA, EQUALLY ON THE EDGE AND YET TIMELESS.

 

LAUNCHED IN 2008, THE EDDIE BORGO COLLECTION IS A CULMINATION OF BORGO'S YEARS SPENT CRAFTING ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECES FOR STYLISTS SUCH AS TABITHA SIMMONS, CAMILLA NICKERSON AND PATTI WILSON AND COLLABORATING ON COLLECTIONS WITH PHILLIP LIM, JOSEPH ALTUZARRA, PROENZA SCHOULER AND MARCHESA. FOR THE NEW YORK-BASED DESIGNER — WHO WAS NAMED 2010 CFDA/VOGUE FASHION FUND RUNNER-UP AND WON BOTH THE CFDA SWAROVSKI AWARD FOR ACCESSORY DESIGN AND THE TIFFANY & CO. DEVELOPMENT GRANT IN 2011 — IT'S ABOUT MELDING A REFINED FINE-JEWELRY SENSIBILITY WITH A STREET ETHOS.

 

TODAY, THE COLLECTION HAS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE A COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF BOTH SEASONAL WOMEN'S AND MEN'S LINES AS WELL AS A PERMANENT CORE OFFERING, AND IS AVAILABLE AT OVER 100 LUXURY STORES WORLDWIDE, FROM BERGDORF GOODMAN IN NEW YORK AND LONDON'S HARRODS TO COLETTE IN PARIS AND HONG KONG'S LANE CRAWFORD. AND BORGO STILL DESIGNS THOSE SPECIAL CUSTOM CREATIONS FOR HIS EDITORS; RECENT ENTRÉES INCLUDE BULLET BOOT STRAPS, TRI-LEVEL JEWELRY BOXES, CUSTOM HEADPIECES AND SCULPTURAL HANDBAGS.

A California native, Elizabeth established Sauvage in San Diego and is proud to design and manufacture all of her swimwear collections in the USA.With over a decade of design experience, Elizabeth continues to evolve her swimwear collection season after season, refining what it means to create swimwear that maintains sophisticated and sexy poolside style.

The original Sauvage collection has been supplemented recently with the Luxe by Sauvage collection, a very sophisticated blend of suits and cover ups, for a full glamorous beachwear look.Fabrics and trims are selected primarily from the finest European fabric mills, and all swimwear production happens in California.

Future plans include more Sauvage accessories and luxury leather goods.
Sauvage is sold at better department stores and specialty swimwear stores throughout the USA and world-wide, and at their flagship retail location in La Jolla, California.
