JULIAN ZIGERLI IS THE NEXT DESIGENR SELECTED BY GIORGIO ARMANI

TO PRESENT HIS FW 2014/15 COLLECTION AT THE ARMANI/TEATRO

 

Julian Zigerli, promising new upcoming designer born in Switzerland, has been selected by Mr. Giorgio Armani to show his Fall Winter 2014/15 Collection at the Armani/Teatro during next Milano Moda Uomo on January, Saturday 11^th at 11.30 AM, pursuing the program of the Italian Maison of support for young creativity.

“Also for this season, I have decided to keep on supporting some of the most promising designers from all over the fashion world, maintaining a global view. Julian Zigerli will be the next designer to present his fashion show in the Armani/Teatro and I hope that my support will be a good omen for his career”, said Mr. Armani.

“This is huge.  I am overwhelmed and speechless about this opportunity which Mr. Giorgio Armani is giving me. To be recognized and supported by one of the most influential and important person in the Fashion Industry worldwide, gives me the confidence and trust into my work and strengthens my believe that creativity is best when it comes from the heart”, said Julian Zigerli.

Born and raised in Switzerland, Julian Zigerli graduated from the University of Arts, in Berlin in 2010 before returning to his roots in Zurich to launch his eponymous label.

Enjoying both local and international success since then, Julian has presented his collection all over the world: from Paris and New York to Milan, Berlin, London and Seoul.

He has been nominated for multiple fashion awards and won the 2012 Swiss Design Award for his AW12 collection “To Infinity and Beyon”.

Julian Zigerli’s men’s collection stands for useful, smart and technical high- class pieces with a sporty touch. There is always a lot of love, colour, humor and positivity involved in his designs.

 

Julian Zigerli, New Upcoming designer svizzero, è stato scelto da Giorgio Armani per presentare la sua collezione FW 2014/15 presso l’Armani/Teatro, durante il prossimo Milano Moda Uomo, sabato 11 gennaio alle ore 11.30; in linea continua con il programma della Maison italiana a supporto dei giovani creativi.

"Continuo anche per questa stagione a sostenere alcuni dei più promettenti giovani stilisti del panorama internazionale della moda, cercando di mantenere uno sguardo globale. Julian Zigerli sarà il prossimo designer a sfilare all’Armani/Teatro e mi auguro che il mio sostegno sia di buon auspicio per la sua carriera”, ha dichiarato Giorgio Armani.

Julian Zigerli, nato e cresciuto in Svizzera, si è laureato presso l’Università dell’Arte di Berlino nel 2010. Dopo la laurea è tornato a Zurigo, dove ha lanciato la sua label di menswear: Julian Zigerli.

Sin dalla sua prima collezione, Julian Zigerli ha maturato successi nazionali e internazionali presentando la sua collezione in tutto il mondo: Zurigo, Londra, Parigi, New York, Firenze, Milano e Seoul.

Ampiamente apprezzato anche nel mondo del Design, nel 2012 ha vinto lo Swiss Design Award grazie alla sua collezione AW 2012 “To infinity and beyond“.

La collezione Julian Zigerli è caratterizzata da un giusto mix tra abbigliamento sportivo e pratico, capi tecnici di alta qualità e sviluppo di nuove stampe. Parole d’ordine: amore, colore, positività e un tocco di humour. Il risultato finale è uno stile pratico ma alla moda allo stesso tempo.
