FRAME Denim

FRAME Denim London - Los Angeles

FRAME was founded in 2012 by a group of friends from London and Venice, California who wanted to create the perfect pair of jeans, by bringing together the quality and heritage of denim manufacturing in Eastern Los Angeles, with the influence of a London style, cut and fit.

The idea originated from Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson, the two London-based, Swedish, serial entrepreneurs behind The Saturday Group, the global fashion marketing company and INDUSTRIE magazine.

“The Saturday Group is involved in so many aspects of the fashion industry today, and having played a part in building brands with our clients. A list that reads like who’s who of fashion, FRAME felt like a logical next step. Our background in the industry and our London heritage, brings a new perspective to the denim business” – say Jens and Erik.

To make FRAME come to life, Jens and Erik enlisted the help of Josh LeVine, who brought in his LA based friends in the denim business. “We’ve been obsessed by denim for the better part of 15 years” – continues Jens and Erik. The idea of FRAME was simple; to make the best looking jeans. “FRAME was created for a confident woman who wears denim to frame her look and compliment her figure. The woman who is always searching for that pair of jeans that had their sense of paired down aesthetics, with an exemplary fit to match. The name FRAME is derived from our physical human form that FRAME is set to“.

The company is based in California, with responsibilities split between the two offices in West Hollywood and Shoreditch. FRAME is produced in Los Angeles, USA by an all star line up. From design, to wash houses and cut & sew, the best people in their field have all come together to make an unrivalled product in quality and price.

FRAME’s collection of skinny tailored jeans in luxurious qualities and true blue denim will launch at Net-A-Porter.com, Fred Segal, Matches, Ikram, Liberty of London and Barneys in November.
