MIU MIU

OPENING IN DUBLIN, THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

November 24th 2014 - Miu Miu opens in the prestigious Brown Thomas, Ireland’s most famous and prestigious department store, in Grafton Street, Dublin.

The Miu Miu space, located on the ground floor, is dedicated to collections of bags and accessories.
Designed by the architect Roberto Baciocchi, the space upholds the iconic signatures of Miu Miu’s retail environment throughout. Gold damask covers soft furnishing and walls while glass shelving and polished steel counters ensure product is displayed at its best. A brown marble floor covered with luxurious gold carpet finishes the interior in a classically elegant manner.
Brown Thomas was first opened by Hugh Brown at 16 Grafton Street in 1848 and expanded over the following century. Today it extends over 12,000 square metres and is home to the world’s best-known luxury brands.

MIU MIU DOUBLES ITS STORES IN ISTANBUL

Miu Miu’s expansion in Turkey continues with a new shop in the prestigious Zorlu Center in Istanbul, where the brand is already present with a store.
Located on a single level, the new store sells the ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear and accessories collections.
The store entrance and window as well as the light boxes are set into a graceful, elegant glass and metal-curtain façade with satin-steel trims.
The interiors are designed with modern display niches in clear cellular and reflective steel, in a setting decorated with damask-lined walls and full-length mirrors.
Architect Roberto Baciocchi’s designs create a sophisticated juxtaposition of iconic elements and contemporary details, thus establishing a new, unexpected harmonious balance.
The flooring – an exquisite black marble slab mosaic – gives a deeper sense of importance to the setting, whereas the mohair velvet and polished steel seating suites give an intimate touch to the entire area.
