Campagna Prada Uomo Autunno/Inverno 2013

La campagna Prada Uomo di questa stagione è un esercizio di semplicità artistica, percorsa da un pizzico di humour.

Ispirandosi al mondo irriverente della Nouvelle Vague degli anni ‘60, tre attori, Christoph Waltz, Ben Whishaw e Ezra Miller, sono i protagonisti di un dramma ironico ed enigmatico.

Il celebre fotografo David Sims ritrae le star in un interno stilizzato e popolato da mobili geometrici, disegnati da OMA per Knoll e presi a prestito da ‘The Ideal House’ concepita da OMA per la sfilata Prada Autunno/Inverno 2013. I personaggi sono sospesi nell’attesa, in un ambiente di riferimenti, colori ed emozioni contrastanti.

Ogni attore interpreta un ruolo diverso, creando un trio di personaggi che introducono nella collezione il loro punto di vista e il loro stile individuale. Il personaggio interpretato da Christoph Waltz evoca un senso di studiata eleganza, Ben Whishaw presenta un fascino alternativo e disinvolto, mentre Ezra Miller contribuisce con un’aria di giovanile mistero.

Per l’Autunno/Inverno 2013, Prada introduce una duplicità di spirito e di stile che è al centro dell’attitudine dell’uomo moderno nei confronti del vestire.

Prada Menswear Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

This season’s Prada menswear campaign is an exercise in artful simplicity cut through with a dash of humor.

Inspired by the irreverent world of 60s New Wave cinema, three actors, Christoph Waltz, Ben Whishaw and Ezra Miller, are the protagonists in a drama of wit and enigma.

Renowned photographer David Sims captures the stars in a stylised interior populated with geometric furniture, designed by OMA for Knoll, borrowed from ‘The Ideal House’ conceived by OMA for the Prada Fall/Winter 2013 fashion show. The characters wait, caught in anticipation within a set of clashing references, colors and emotion.

Each actor plays a distinct role, creating a trio of characters who bring their individual points of view and style to the collection. Christoph Waltz’s character evokes a studied sense of elegance, Ben Whishaw presents an alternative carefree charm and Ezra Miller brings a youthful air of mystery.

For Fall/Winter 2013 Prada introduces a duality of wit and style at the heart of the modern man’s attitude to dressing.

ToyWatch: ToyCruise Metal

 

ToyWatch presents its ToyCruise Metal watch, a revisitation of the Cruise collection: drawing its inspiration from the style and charm of the 1960s, it is characterised by a new material, steel, which exalts the softness of the stretch mesh fabric - a new rendition of the braided belt, a cult accessory at the time.

 

Rhythm and a feeling of light heartedness and freedom are the salient traits of this collection made-to-measure for men and women who stand out for their unmistakable style, elegant and yet somewhat irreverent, typical of those years. 

 

The ToyCruise Metal collection includes a watch and a matching necklace: two pieces that for this special new version will also be sold separately, prompting more personal and diversified interpretations of one’s looks.

 

The ToyCruise Metal watch, of linear and essential design, has a 40mm case made from  nickel-free steel that comes in many colour versions: warm gold and pink gold, shiny silver, elegant IP black.  The strap, in a white, black, green or brown braided fabric with leather finishes, creates a refined contrast with the metallic hues, giving rise to 5 models of innate elegance.

 

The ToyCruise Metal necklace is a modern version of the Tibetan Mala, the famous Buddhist rosary, coveted by fashion addicts.

Made of small steel balls, the necklace is entwined by hand with a stretch fabric that makes it suitable for wearing as a bracelet too.

The colour combinations are in counterposition: the beads with the case and the stretch fabric and soft leather with the strap, in perfect harmony with the colour shades of the watches.
