Joie de Vivre and Good Karma à Munich

Georgia May Jagger, Nico Rosberg, Paz Vega and Rosanna Davison among the guests at the
exclusive THOMAS SABO Party Karma Night

Munich/Lauf a. d. Pegnitz, February 15, 2014

Joie de vivre, good Karma and party atmosphere: on Saturday night (15/02/2014), host and company founder Thomas Sabo invited around 1,400 friends and partners of the brand and press representatives from all over the world to the exclusive Karma Night at Munich’s Postpalast venue. The long party night was very much in keeping with the spirit of the Karma Beads –the new 2014 Spring/Summer Sterling Silver Collection jewellery line – launched only a few weeks previously. The motto of the evening: ‘Such a good Karma – THOMAS SABO celebrates life!’
In addition to the attending brand ambassadors Georgia May Jagger and Nico Rosberg, guests also
included international celebrities such as Spanish actress Paz Vega, Chris de Burgh’s daughter Rosanna Davison and English DJ Laura Whitmore. And numerous German celebrities were in attendance as well, including Sönke Möhring, Jana Pallaske, Jeanette Hain, Papis Loveday, Natasha and Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, Nova Meierhenrich and Stephanie Stumph, none wanting to miss out on partying with the brand as ‘Good Karma People’. Adorned with her favourite jewels from the latest THOMAS SABO collections, they all presented their very own personal Karma Style.
Very much in line with the ‘Rebel at heart’ men’s collection, the one-hour concert with the band Triggerfinger created a fantastic Rock ‘n’ Roll vibe among the guests. Following the gig, the guests partied away until the early hours of the morning to the fabulous sounds of DJ Chrissi D! and with a wonderful selection of delicacies from Käfer. The evening was MC’d by hugely-charismatic presenter Alexander Mazza.
Thomas Sabo speaking about Karma Night: “I am absolutely thrilled that so many THOMAS SABO friends and partners have joined us to experience this one-off party night. The joie de vivre and the positive spirit of our new jewellery line – THOMAS SABO Karma Beads – was completely tangible:
celebrating life and infecting others in the process!”

Prada in Stuttgart

PRADA OPENS ITS FIRST SHOP IN STUTTGART, GERMANY

Prada opens its first store in Stuttgart, Germany, in the prestigious Breuninger department store. Designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, the space occupies a total surface of 120 square metres and offers women’s and men’s leather goods and accessories collections. The internal façade, lined in black Marquina marble, features a wide entrance and display windows framed by steel trims. The interior is characterised by the typical elements defining Prada’s stores worldwide: black and white marble chequered floors, mirrored or green canvas walls. The furnishings with a thin polished steel structure and black marble drawers complete the setting. A more intimate space, with black Marquina marble cladded walls, is dedicated to the men’s and women’s small leather goods, eyewear and accessories collections. The atmosphere is defined by the green and cherry-coloured saffiano leather details of the glass display counters, and by the green velvet of the seats.

PRADA CANDY L’EAU

Milano, Italy, 18 February 2013, Paris, France, 25 February 2013 and London, UK, 27 February 2013

Three cities, three mansions perfectly representing their respective architectures: an apartment in a nineteenth-century building looking onto the park; a noble mansion on the Rive Gauche and a typical Soho townhouse. This is where Prada chose to unveil Candy L’Eau, the new fragrance of Candy, available in all the Prada stores and in department stores and perfume shops globally.

A new, fresher and more joyful version of the fragrance that keeps all the sophisticated features of the original perfume.

French actress Léa Seydoux is Candy as the leading character again, this time directed by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola.

The two US directors created a real tale in three episodes that, through their vision, encompasses Candy’s intense, exciting life.

Léa Seydoux herself is being involved in a Parisian love affair, a “ménage à trois” that expresses the girl’s joy of living, elegantly unconventional.

The three episodes will be revealed on Prada.com starting on March 30th, and screened in a select circuit of cinemas in Italy, France, United Kingdom and Germany

Milano 18 Febbraio 2013, Parigi 25 Febbraio 2013 e Londra 27 Febbraio 2013
