PeaceJam Foundation to Host World Premiere of
Documentary Film and Press Conference to Announce Launch of Global Campaign
The
PeaceJam Foundation invites media
to the world premiere of the documentary film "Children of the Light"
in the presence of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and H.S.H. Prince Albert II.
Attendees will be among the first to view the documentary, which will later be
available exclusively on Google Play until September 21st.
Additionally, PeaceJam will hold a press conference
with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Google’s Chade-Meng Tan and PeaceJam’s
co-founders to announce the global launch of PeaceJam's One Billion Acts of Peace
campaign. Led by thirteen Nobel Peace Laureates, including the Dalai Lama
and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the campaign is designed to inspire average
citizens around the world to work together to create one billion high quality
projects that address the most important issues facing humanity.

The
“Children of the Light” documentary film is the second in a Nobel Legacy series
produced by the PeaceJam Foundation and features the life story of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the
crucial role he played in bringing about the miracle in South Africa. The
film will also take viewers around the globe to see the work of five young
activists and leaders who were inspired and formed by the example of Archbishop
Desmond Tutu, and who are now creating social change in their own communities –
in Peru, in Burma, in East Timor, in India, and in South Africa. The film will
be narrated by Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s daughter, Naomi Tutu. On June 9th,
Google will do a limited release of PeaceJam's new film, "Children of the
Light" as a Google Play exclusive in 70 countries around the world as part
of the International Launch of the PeaceJam Foundation’s One Billion Acts of
Peace Campaign.
