Thirty
years ago, Princess Grace left us. If this sad birthday is at the origin of the
desire to create a tribute event, it is certainly not the connotation that the
organizers of Grace, A Symbol Of Change
wish to give to these three days. On the contrary it is a celebration to
recognize the legacy of Grace in the three main roles of her life and to
celebrate her unquestionable contribution to positive change around her. As a
princess, she initiated a social and cultural economic boom in Monaco. As an
actress, she created a unique style mixing Hollywood glamour, elegance and
sophistication that has shaped our collective memory of fashion. As a lady, her
personality and kindness profoundly marked her surroundings and remains a
source of inspiration for all women who want to pursue their dreams.
The program will begin on Friday evening
for the tribute to the princess, with a
gala dinner in the Salle Empire of the Hotel de Paris, will continue with live
and silent auctions featuring outstanding items, and will end with a fashion
show from American designer Jeff Garner Dress
to Change The World. Live music for the show was composed and will be
performed by Robin Le Mesurier. Jeff Garner Princess Grace Tribute Collection
takes the iconic simple style of Princess Grace and transforms it into modern
day with sustainable fabrics and plant/earth based dyes all made in Tennessee,
a choice aligned with the love and respect Princess exhibited for nature. The
show will be presented by Suzy Amis Cameron. Robin Le Mesurier from Rod Stewart
and Alain Lanty, Julien Clerc pianist, will be performing with a live orchestra
the music for the show and DJ Coco from London will keep the energy seamless.
Saturday will be dedicated
to the actress and will include during the day a MINI Film Festival open to the public
and hosted by Women Make Movies as well as a workshop on the theme Can Documentaries Change the World. It
will be followed by the exceptional screening of the classic To Catch a Thief for the French release of its remastered Blu-Ray™
version. Dennis Maguire, President of Paramount Home Media Distribution will be
attending along with major actors of Paramount Studios. Limited tickets for the
screening will also be available through FNAC ticketing offices. The venue for
the Saturday is the Princess Grace Theatre, a theatre that was remodeled and
brought to life again by the Princess in 1981
Finally elegance will take center stage
on Sunday at the Monte Carlo Beach with
the first edition of the Ladies & The City Hat Contest with the
participation of Jimmy Choo, Suzy Amis Cameron and Dede Valentine among the
jury. Hats were a major element of Grace's timeless elegance and glamour, just
as much as her white gloves and pearl necklace. This hat contest is a tribute
to Grace's refinement and her contribution to the fashion history. The theme of
this year contest, Back to the Fifties
will bring back for a day these happy post-war years marked by change, happy
"after-war" years, symbolized by change, Rock & Roll, the birth
of the Bic pen, the Dior new look, the skyrocketing development of marketing
strategies and home appliances. A classic car show will also be part of the
Sunday program and the event will be filmed in 3D by EDLized Production Studio.

Jeff Garner self proclaimed ethical and Eco friendly designer = Promise a young girl fame and fortune whom resembles Princess Grace. Once ensnared by false promises, impregnate her out of wedlock, reaveal the truth of a poor financial state, require her to work for monthly support and health insurance all while proclaiming ethics and integrity. Jeff Garner = hypocrisy!
