The
colours and exotic images of Central America, the birthplace of the first
Pre-Columbian civilisation, have led to the creation of the new collection from
ToyWatch: Maya, watches inspired by the textile embroidery art of the Mexican
and South American peoples
|
A hand-woven strap,
which can be fastened as required, characterised by two different sides that
permit two different variants, a gilded case with a white and champagne dial
and a unique back which emphasises the unique nature of the entire collection,
featuring an engraved Symbol of the Sunstone, make ToyWatch’s Maya a real fashion accessory, a special and very trendy
object for summer 2012.
Maya watches are available in four colours, the same ones the Mexican people
used in their famous frescoes and pottery: tones of blue, like their beautiful
sea, shades of green to recall the luxuriant Rain Forest, warm and enveloping
hues of brown, representing the native earth, and lastly, purple, symbol of
mystery, a typical characteristic underlying Mayan culture.
The 40-mm steel case has time
only Japan movement and is waterproof up to 3 ATM.
